As the heat slowly subsides, cold winds begin to cut across the kingdoms, making the days cooler and the nights downright uncomfortable. Intermittent rain showers will sweep the lands more and more the closer it gets to winter. Trees will begin to change colours from green to red-copper-golds, and the dust and smoke from the dry summer will hover in the air until the rain washes it away.
Scarves and high collars are recommended, coats are more in fashion, and a handy umbrella wouldn't go amiss.

We all know the feeling: we make a character who isn't us, and yet we sympathise. Sooner or later, we find out that even the most unlikable of our characters take at least some of their likeness from us.
So I'm starting a support thread, I mean, game about it.
The objective and rules are simple. You choose a character and share with us how you are alike, and we will all
Sound like fun? No? Well, at least you're not alone, and we love you for it.
Kaya is like me: she also thinks she's much more clever than she actually is.

“Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.” ~ George Orwell

I think the two characters who have the most the most in common with me in a lot of ways are Aster and Colby.
Aster has left the place of his birth in pursuit of a place where he feels he fits, a life that makes him happy, and a career that he can actually be proud to call his own, rather than the one set aside for him by his parents or other elders in his life.
Colby has done his utmost to distance himself from his past, creating a new persona and spending a lot of time changing himself in every way because of the feelings of shame and anger that he associates with his birth family and his past. (Though, he's still often habitually unhappy so it's not a full-proof plan.)
There are other aspects of other characters, but those are most true to me.
