Heat swarms across the kingdoms, making the days more and more uncomfortably warm. Evenings offer little respite, though early mornings can be comfortably cool. Arid regions will radiate with dry heat, while regions where greenery is prevalent will be stifled by humidity.

If you can manage it, stay indoors or in the shade as much as possible, or - better yet - only come out in the wee hours of the morning.

This is a slightly different version of a game I've seen played on practically every site I've joined. For some reason, people on the internet don't often think of playing this game with their members, though I've heard that a lot of writers are avid readers. So I want to start that here.

What are you reading, right now?  I'm reading several things right now, because COLLEGE (sigh), but the one thing I'm reading for fun whenever I can get to it is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
Would you recommend it to someone else?  It is a fantastic book! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who might be interested in reading it.
Why or why not?  It's a modern fantasy that toys with several fantasy tropes, plays with time in a very intriguing way, and can also be seen as a coming of age tale. It jumped instantly to my top 10 favourite books of all time upon my first completion of it. This is my second read-through as a matter of fact, and I love it so much that you have probably even seen some incorporation of this story I love around TK (as well as several other favourites of mine). ^-^

How about you?

What are you reading, right now? I'm amending this a bit to what I just finished reading, which was Ready Player One.
Would you recommend it to someone else? I would... mostly.
Why or why not? There are some definite plot issues, if you're nit-picky about that sort of thing. A bigger than life baddy that requires a deus-ex-machina to combat, and representation is a small issue, if that bothers you. (There's more than you expect, but some of it seems as though it was tossed in as an afterthought? -shrug- Might just have been me, though.)

However, it's well-written and I thought the characters were realistic, and developed naturally. The story is interesting, if a bit dystopian (don't get me wrong, I like Dystopias, but I need to be in the right mood for them and this was only marketed as a sci-fi), and it's a satisfying read.
